Viki Bailey is a family nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing degree working at the Utah Valley Pediatrics Sanpete County office. Viki has lived all over the world but recently relocated from Idaho to Utah to be closer to family. She loves the beautiful Utah mountains and enjoys getting outside and hiking. She’s an avid reader and cookie baker who loves listening to country music, dancing, and talking to her friends.
Viki has known she wanted to be a nurse since she was four years old, but she didn’t know it would be in pediatrics. She took a job in pediatric urgent care and loved it so much that she’s never left pediatrics since. As a mother of seven children, Viki can empathize with parents and relate to their struggles and worries. She does her best to make sure she fully addresses the concerns of the parents and children alike.
Viki believes the best way to care for children is to spend time with them, listen to them, believe in them, and be empathetic and patient with them. She makes it her goal to show love and care to all of her patients. To this end, she loves playing and joking with kids to make them feel comfortable and happy during their visits.
Viki is working on memorizing 50 poems. She loves poetry!
